Gathering Places

Gathering Places | April 12 ... May 17, 2026 | 1 Peter

Where do you belong? Where do you find strength, identity, and purpose?

In this 6-week series drawn from the letter of 1 Peter, we explore the many places where God gathers His people ... and why those places matter. Peter writes to believers living as "elect exiles" in a world that doesn't share their values. His answer isn't isolation; it's gathering. We gather in the living hope of heaven (1 Peter 1:3–4), around the imperishable Word of God (1:23–25), in the joy of confirmation and public faith (Psalm 46:5), in corporate worship as a royal priesthood (2:9–10), in the daily rhythms of our homes and families (3:1–2), and ultimately we are sent out ... scattering into our neighborhoods and workplaces with the gifts and hospitality of Christ (4:9–11).

The church is not a building. It's a people who gather and scatter, coming together to be renewed and going out to renew the world. Every message in this series invites you to ask: Am I gathering where God is present ... and am I going where He is sending me?

Whether you watched from the beginning or are just discovering this series, every message stands on its own and points to the same truth: in Jesus Christ, we always have a place to belong.
