Young adulthood brings new opportunities, changing relationships, and important decisions about faith, education, career, and the future. Emmanuel Lutheran Church’s Young Adult Ministry provides Christian community, encouragement, and connection through two groups designed to support young adults in these different seasons of life - Emerge and Rooted.
Together, Emerge and Rooted offer a place for young adults to stay connected to Christian community and firmly rooted in Jesus through each new season of the journey.

Emerge is Emmanuel Lutheran Church’s young adult and college ministry for students age 18 through the completion of their education. Through personal check-ins and scheduled group gatherings, Emerge offers Christian students’ encouragement, connection, and support as they navigate college life and grow in their faith. It is a welcoming community where young adults can build meaningful relationships and remain rooted in Jesus throughout this important season.
“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

Rooted is for career and growing adults who are navigating life beyond their formal education. Through fellowship, faith-centered conversation, and opportunities to build lasting connections, Rooted provides a community where young adults can grow deeper in their relationship with Christ while finding encouragement and belonging in the midst of work, relationships, responsibilities, and adult life.
