National Missions

Members of Emmanuel have encouraged a variety of national missions providing financial, physical and spiritual support to these vital organizations.

  • Crow Agency: Emmanuel supports the Crow Lutheran Church in Crow Agency, MT, pastored by the Rev. Daniel Jacobs who serves the Crow Nation with the Gospel, Word, Sacraments, and deeds. The Crow Lutheran Church trains pastors from all Christian denominations to understand the culture and heritage of our Native Americans.
  • Kairos Prison Ministries: through the Kairos ministry, Emmanuel members have the opportunity to share the hope that is in Jesus with those in area prisons. This ministry receives Emmanuel’s financial support as well as cooking support as members make hundreds of cookies for teams to take into the prisons on ministry week ends.
  • Gideons International: Many business and professional members of Emmanuel participate in the Gideons ministry whose purpose is to reach men and women, boys and girls with the Gospel.
  • HARP Mission:  HARP is located in S E Ohio and also active in serving West Virginia.  HARP’s purpose is to serve people seeking self-sufficiency, leading to independence by providing spiritual, emotional, and material support.  They are inspired by the words of Christ, “Truly, I say to you, as you did for one of these my brothers, you did it for me.” (Matthew 25:40 NIV)  For more information, contact them at mary@harpmission.org.
