Holy Communion

We believe that in Holy Communion when we receive the bread and wine we actually receive the Lord’s Body and Blood for the forgiveness of sins and strength to serve God. If you are a baptized and repentant Christian who desires to commune with us, we believe that by communing you are publically declaring you share in our understanding of Holy Communion. In addition you are expressing your oneness in faith with us in Close Communion at Emmanuel as part of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Only those who have been instructed in Holy Communion should commune.

Anyone desiring to commune regularly with the congregation is requested to contact one of the Pastors by email or by calling the church office 937-434-1798.
